Did you know? You can board a free bus to and from Expo 2020 Dubai. Special RTA buses called Expo Riders commute between ticket holders and the venue daily, and will continue to do so until March 31, 2022.
To take these color-coded shuttles, you can approach certain bus stops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. We tell you which routes are the right ones and the operating times for each so you can plan your trip to the World’s Fair in advance.

Take the free Expo Rider bus from these stops
You have a lot of options with 21 intercity and Dubai bus stops in total. Each Expo Rider bus route takes you to one of three Expo gates – Sustainability, Opportunity or Mobility District. If you are departing from Ajman, for example, the only Expo Rider bus departing from the emirate will drop you off at the Opportunity gate.
For the free round trip, be sure to board the same bus from the same Expo Rider gate back home. Write down the route number beforehand to avoid any setback; each bus is assigned a color according to its district: Opportunity is orange, Sustainability is green and Mobility blue.
Here are the shuttles and their respective pick-up and drop-off locations.

Dubai
Show ticket holders can take Expo Rider buses from the following stations in Dubai:
1. Al Baraha Bus Station – Route 291
Buses from Al Baraha Bus Station in Deira go to the Expo Sustainability Gate at a frequency of 30 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 7.40 am from the station. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Sustainability Expo Rider gate at 1.30am (midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays at 3.30am.
Travel time : 1 hour and 20 minutes
2. Al Ghubaiba Bus Station – Route 292
Buses from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Fahidi go to the Expo Sustainability Gate every 15 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:10 am from the station. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Sustainability Expo Rider gate at 2:00 a.m. (midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays at 3:30 a.m.

3. Dubai Mall Expo Rider stop – Route 298
Buses from the Dubai Mall Expo Rider bus stop travel to the Expo Sustainability Gate every 30 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:35 am from the stop. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Sustainability Expo Rider gate at 1.30am (midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays at 3.30am.

4. Dubai International Airport, Terminal 3, Expo Rider stop – Route 391
Buses from Dubai International Airport, Terminal 3, Expo Rider stop travel to Expo Mobility Gate every 20 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:25 am from the stop. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Mobility Expo Rider portal at 1:30 am (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 3:30 am.

5. Dubai World Trade Center, Novotel Hotel bus stop – Route 391
Buses from the Dubai World Trade Center, Novotel Hotel bus stop go to the Expo Mobility gate at a frequency of 20 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:40 am from the stop. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Mobility Expo Rider portal at 2.15 a.m. (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 4.15 a.m.

6. Etisalat Bus Station – Route 293
Buses from Etisalat Bus Station in Al Qusais travel to the Expo Sustainability Gate every 30 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:25 am from the station. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Sustainability Expo Rider gate at 2:00 a.m. (midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays at 3:30 a.m.

7. Palm Jumeirah Expo Rider stop – Route 191
Buses from the Palm Jumeirah Expo Rider stop travel to the Expo Opportunity Gate every 15 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:51 am from the stop. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Opportunity Expo Rider gate at 1.30am (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 3.30am.

8. Jumeirah Beach Residence 1, Landside bus stop – Route 191

11. Dubai Silicon Oasis Bus Station – Route 295
Buses from Dubai Silicon Oasis Bus Station travel to the Expo Sustainability Gate every 15 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:25 am from the station. Abu Dhabi
All Expo Rider buses departing from Abu Dhabi City go to the Mobility District. Here are the three stations from which you can board them:
1. Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station – Route 313
Buses from Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station travel to Expo Mobility Gate every 30 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8:30 am from the station. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Mobility Expo Rider portal at 1 a.m. (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 2 a.m.
Travel time : 1 hour and 50 minutes
2. Abu Dhabi International Airport Expo Rider Stop – Route 311
Buses from the Expo Rider stop at Abu Dhabi International Airport travel to the Expo Mobility Gate every 30 minutes. From Saturday to Wednesday, the first bus leaves at 7:30 a.m. and Thursdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. from the stop. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Mobility Expo Rider portal at 1:00 a.m. (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 2:00 a.m.

3. Marina Mall Abu Dhabi Expo rider stop – Route 312
Buses from the Marina Mall Abu Dhabi Expo Rider stop travel to the Expo Mobility Gate every 30 minutes. From Saturday to Wednesday, the first bus leaves at 8 a.m., and Thursdays and Fridays at 8:30 a.m. from the stop. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Mobility Expo Rider portal at 1:00 a.m. (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 2:00 a.m.

Al Ain
The town of Al Ain has a bus station that takes visitors to and from the sustainability district.
1. Al Ain Bus Station – Route 221
Buses from Al Ain Bus Station travel to the Expo Sustainability Gate at a frequency of 60 minutes. From Saturday to Thursday, the first bus leaves at 7:30 a.m. and on Friday at 6:30 a.m. from the station. Sunday through Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Sustainability Expo Rider gate at 1:30 a.m. (midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays at 3 a.m.

Sharjah
Expo Rider buses from two Sharjah bus stations travel to the Opportunity District.
1. Al Jubail Bus Station – Route 131
Buses from Al Jubail Bus Station travel to Expo Opportunity Gate every 30 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 8 am from the station. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Opportunity Expo Rider gate at 1am (midnight), and Thursdays and Fridays at 3:30 am.

2. Al Muwailah Bus Station – Route 132
Buses from Al Muwailah Bus Station travel to Expo Opportunity Gate every 30 minutes. From Saturday to Thursday, the first bus leaves at 8:30 am and Friday at 7:00 am from the station. From Saturday to Wednesday, the last bus leaves the Opportunity Expo Rider gate at 1:30 a.m. (midnight), Thursday at 3:30 a.m. and Friday at 3 a.m.

Ajman
Free buses to Expo 2020 Dubai from Ajman take visitors to the Opportunity District.

Buses from Ajman Expo Rider Central Bus Station in Al Muntazi go to Expo Opportunity Gate at a frequency of 60 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 7:21 am from the station. From Saturday to Thursday, the last bus leaves the Opportunity Expo Rider gate at 1:30 a.m. (midnight) and Friday at 1 a.m.

Ras al-Khaimah
Expo Rider buses from Ras Al Khaimah go to the Opportunity District.

Fujairah
Fujairah residents can take the free bus to the Expo Sustainability District.

Buses from the Fujairah City Center Expo Rider stop travel to the Expo Sustainability Gate at a frequency of 180 minutes. Every day of the week, the first bus leaves at 6.30 am from the station. Sunday through Wednesday the last bus leaves the Sustainability Expo Rider gate at 12:30 am (midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays at 3:30 am.
