For the convenience of passengers traveling to Mumbai, Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) has launched an advance ticket booking system where one can reserve seats on airport AC service buses through the Chalo app.

Mumbai visitors can now book a seat on any of Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST)’s 15 Airport AC service buses before landing at the city’s airport. The BEST Chalo application allows passengers to reserve a seat on AC buses.
Buses will depart from Terminal 2 or the International Airport and travel to various locations around the city. The buses are fully electric and the service will be available 24/7. The BEST Chalo app allows travelers to reserve a seat which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Passengers can also reserve their seats up to seven days in advance.
AC bus service is currently available on three major city routes, according to BEST.

Route 881: CSIA Terminal 2 – Backbay Bus Depot
Route 882: CSIA Terminal 2 – Jalvayu Vihar, Kharghar
Route 884: CSIA Terminal 1A – Cadbury Junction, Thane
HOW TO RESERVE A PLACE ON THE BEST CHALO APPLICATION?
– Open the BEST Chalo app and search for routes 881, 882 or 884.
– Select “Book” from the menu.
– Choose a pick-up and drop-off location.
– Choose a time slot and make an online payment.
– You can then follow the bus live and confirm your reservation by placing your phone on the driver’s machine.
Depending on the success of this initiative, BEST plans to expand services to more airport routes in the future.
