Two cars crash into several vehicles parked in Taunton


Two vehicles and a number of parked vehicles were involved in an accident this morning on Binden Road in Staplegrove, Taunton.

The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. today (Monday, January 10).

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed there were no injuries and the road was blocked during salvage work.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: ‘We were called to Bindon Road, Taunton, shortly before 8:30 am this morning (Monday January 10) following a collision involving two cars and a number of parked vehicles.

“The log indicates that the road was blocked during salvage work, rather than closed.

“We left the scene at around 9.45 am and no injuries were reported.”

In a Facebook post, the Taunton Neighborhood Police Unit initially stated that “officers are currently dealing with a PSTN on Bindon Road.

“The road is closed at the junction of Staplegrove Road. Bindon Road is still accessible via Silk Mills Road.”
