MANILA, Philippines – As of Monday, all provincial and city buses will no longer have to pay terminal fees at Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said on Saturday.

“It’s important to me that our transport workers are vaccinated because they travel to different places and meet different people every day,” Tugade said.

PITX is the largest bus terminal in the country and serves 14 bus operators. Tugade made the announcement on Saturday during the Department of Transport’s vaccination campaign for transport workers at PITX.

A total of 5,000 transport workers are targeted for vaccination and 1,000 transport workers are to be vaccinated every Saturday.
