Airbus, Air Liquide and Vinci Airports have joined forces to set up a gaseous hydrogen distribution station at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport in France, as part of a three-step plan to support the decarbonisation of transport air.

The first is the deployment of a hydrogen gas distribution station at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport from 2023. This station will supply land vehicles at the airport (buses, trucks, handling equipment, etc.) and those of its partners, as well as the heavy goods vehicles which circumnavigate the airport. This first phase is essential to test the installations and the dynamics of the airport as a “hydrogen hub” in its area of intervention.
