Attack thwarted inside the Terminal: threatens a woman with a hammer

These are violent times. Too much. And crime, as a social expression, is not excluded from this scourge.

Week after week, this diary gives an account of innumerable criminal episodes, where brutality is the distinctive note.

Very often without any reason justifying it, the savagery shown by the thieves aggravates an already terrible fact in itself.

In recent hours, to cite an example, a very serious case of insecurity has occurred. It was at the bus station, where a 36-year-old man assaulted a woman with the aim of depriving her of various items of her property.

However, that was not the only thing. To intimidate his victim, the attacker showed him a hammer, which he took out of a backpack.

According to the above, the arrest was made by local police and GTO personnel from the second precinct, after a complaint to 911.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the suspect, who was very excited.

The victim, a 38-year-old woman from the federal capital, said the accused threatened her and asked for her belongings.

In these circumstances, thanks to a rapid operation, the accused was captured without the act being consummated.

The subject remained at the disposal of the UFI 1 of La Plata.

WITHOUT MERCY

In the middle of last week, another brutal crime-related case was registered in La Plata.

It was when three criminals staged a violent attack on a family in the La Loma neighborhood.

It happened on Calle 42 between 19 and 20, where the attackers, as this newspaper reported, in addition to taking money, threatened to rape a minor.

According to the spokespersons, those involved entered taking advantage of the fact that the front door was open. Inside was a 49-year-old employee with his 78-year-old mother and 20-year-old son; In addition, a 62-year-old neighbor and her 4-year-old granddaughter had visited.

Quickly and under threat, the criminals whittled everyone down and began searching the premises for cash.

As noted, in addition to handcuffing them, they threatened to sexually abuse the little girl to achieve their goal. However, they only seized around 19,000 pesos and got away, although they didn’t get very far.

It is that, as soon as they set foot in the street, they were received by several police officers, who already knew that they were inside.

Apparently, thanks to a neighbor who heard noises and saw strange movements in the place, the operation was triggered.

The attackers were from the southern area of Greater Buenos Aires and are still being held in a case led by prosecutor Betina Lacki.
