An elevated bus rapid transit system will be launched from KPHB Metro to Kokapet Neopolis

Hyderabad: Telangana Municipal for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao announced to the Assembly on Saturday that the EBRTS (Elevated Bus Rapid Transit System) project will be taken over from KPHB Metro Station in Kokapet Neopolis (22 km) with a cost from Rs 2500 Cr soon.

The project will be supposed to be resumed in PPP – HAM (Hybrid Annuity Model). The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Agency (HMDA) will execute this project with the assistance of Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML). Work should start in April or May. TSIIC will also be associated with this project.

Also, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) is ready for the airport express development between Nanakramguda and Shamshabad airport with Rs 5,100 crore. The second phase of the Strategic Road Development Program (SRDP) in Hyderabad with Rs 3,115 crore.
