7-year-old girl crushed to death in bus station accident

MANILA, Philippines – A seven-year-old girl has died after a bus accidentally ran her over at a terminal in Sta. Cruz, Manila Thursday night.

Police said the incident happened inside the Philippine Rabbit Bus Station around 6:50 p.m.

“The initial investigation conducted before the incident, [the bus] was parked inside the bus station. After a few hours, said vehicle started to move forward and its left rear wheel accidentally struck the victim, who at the time was playing hide and seek, resulting in his instant death, ”a district report read. Manila Police Station.

The bus driver was taken into custody, according to MPD.
