Canal Street-Alger Point ferry service suspended for construction of new terminal

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority will suspend Canal Street-Alger Point ferry service to allow construction of the new Canal Street ferry terminal. The service will be discontinued Tuesday through Thursday, but a temporary terminal-to-terminal bus shuttle will be provided starting at 6 a.m. from the Algiers Point ferry terminal.
